Sgarbh Lodge Art and Craft - take home a piece of Skye
I have an ever changing collection of original art and craft items for sale. They are created in our 100 year old lodge here in Milovaig in the North West of the Isle of Skye, a location often described by our Bed and Breakfast guests as "the end of the world".
I create unique one off seaweed pressed images inspired by the ever changing environment around us on Skye and the wider Highlands and Islands. They are made using watercolour paper, acrylic paints and locally collected seaweed.
I also create unique one off collages to reflect the scenes around us. For these I use driftwood, shells, interesting rocks, oxidised barbed wire fencing, dried leaves and grasses, bog cotton, natural dyed papers and tweed material scraps.
I also make found driftwood, seaglass and pottery keyrings and mobiles.
